Alma Cocina introduces Atlanta to a refreshing new approach to modern Mexican cuisine. Bright, fresh ingredients and traditional regional influences come together with other Latin American flavors in a variety of vibrant fresh dishes. We are Mexican food snobs from Houston, and San Antonio Texas. We did not have high hopes for this place because we are able to get incredible Mexican food where we live. Boy were we pleasantly surprised. We absolutely loved this food. I am a vegetarian. They had a vegetarian paella that was incredible. We also did the salsa and guacamole tasting, which we really enjoyed and their homemade fried whole tortilla chips or Fantastic.. My husband got the bulgogi beef tacos, and he loved them. I do not drink alcohol so I had a nonalcoholic margarita that was so good. I asked the manager to come over and tell me what zero proof alcohol they were using and how to make them. We’re are in Atlanta for four days… We will definitely go back to this restaurant and try something else. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We had the best evening having dinner before heading to a concert. Kay our server was so good. Kind, attentive, knowledgeable and went above and beyond. She made our night so enjoyable! The manager was also incredibly kind. Top notch service from start to finish!

The guacamole trio is amazing, as is the fried cheese. Drinks were great. It’s a fun place to bring friends and co workers for a great dinner.

We enjoyed our experience, but found the drinks to be noticeably lower quality than the buckhead location. We didn’t love the shared table with the silly divider either, but the food was great as usual!
