Altesi is a neighborhood restaurant. You walk in are greeted nicely. People are dressed nicely neat not ripped clothes. Sets mood. Color scheme soothing w orange popping. Now service gr8. Melon sweet Parma delicious. Lentil soup hit spot. Entre. My husband cleaned his plate of the blk squid pasta. I enjoyed my lamb. To be honest it was the best rack of lamb I have had in a long time. The ice cream was very delicious. My only add would be when you have coffee they give you biscotti or cookies. Will return more often to try other things on the extensive menu. chi vediamo

We had excellent attentive service and wonderful food, both in presentation and taste. The room was busy, but tables are far enough apart so we could hear each other. The room itself is very attractive. Every aspect of the dining experience showed care and thoughtfulness for the well being of the diners.

The best Italian food we had in all of New York, a quality rarely found even in Italy! Highly authentic yet imaginative dishes with the best possible ingredients, from the crisp salad to the perfectly balanced al dente pasta. We loved it all the wonderful host and waiters included! Been several times already in both uptown and downtown restaurants !
