Anton and Michel is now open INDOORS and OUTDOORS at the COURT of the FOUNTAINS.
LUNCH: 11:30 AM – 4:00 PM / DINNER: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

Since 1980, Anton and Michel has consistently maintained an award-winning reputation for true excellence in the art of fine dining. A complete interior remodel was recently completed features handset stonework throughout the restaurant. The floor to ceiling windows offer breathtaking views of the Court of the Fountains. Zagat Survey calls it: Carmel’s long-standing paean to graciousness in dining out. Along with updated and contemporary changes to the menus, ultimate table side service flambĂ© desserts remain. As quoted in the Wine Spectator, Anton and Michel is “probably the best dining experience in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea”.

                                                        Everything was delicious we ordered 1/2 oysters and the onion soup 😋 the entree was amazing the king salmon was my favorite!!! We highly recommend we really enjoyed.

                                                        Food not worth the price IMO. Little overpriced. Brought check early and added an extra water to the bill and they made a fuss when I wanted a receipt of the refund because they had to charge me twice.

                                                        This restaurant remains a favorite in Carmel. Very warm and professional staff. Welcoming owner. There is an extensive menu and a good wine list. Very good quality and value. This is a regular choice for us but it certainly measures up to a special occasion dining experience.

                                                        We ordered 4 main dishes and shared them all and we thought ALL of them were SO good!!! Such amazing flavors. Two of us were gluten free and were very happy to see more than the normal 2 or 3 options you see on other menus. Highly recommend!
