    Last night at Barclay Prime in Philadelphia, PA was magical. The purpose of our visit was to celebrate a family member who is going to a military academy soon. The staff was attentive to this and surprised her with a small cake with a candle on it, and "congratulations" was written on the plate they served her the cake in. This was a very nice touch, it surprised our family member, and left her with a core memory and boost during such an important and special time in her life. Thank you Barclay staff for a wonderful experience.

    The meat here is amazing. The vegetable sides are a disappointment, the brussel sprouts come with chicken liver, which is not mentioned on the menu. The cauliflower is covered in a cream sauce. The apps are fine, very tiny tuna tartare, and average at best. The chopped salad is really good, but not finely chopped, just a regular salad. The desserts are not special either, we tried 3 and all disappointed. The chocolate chip cookie in the skillet is full of raisins, the coconut cake is dry and so was the mocha cake.

    We had a wonderful experience! Jackson was very attentive and accommodating. Loved the east coast oysters, seared scallop appetizer, and crab cake . You can’t go wrong with the cheesesteak. I’m not a meat lover, but my husband ordered it and I thoroughly enjoyed it as well.

    Can’t say enough great things! The BEST dinner & night my husband and I have ever had! Our server, Ahmad was the very best. We actually cried we were so happy! Can’t wait to return!!!! ♥️
