   Way too crowded. Disorganized. 40 minute wait despite reservation. 10 people per table. Friendly staff. Terrible cocktails that didn’t match menu in appearance or ingredients. Per the bar, the “menu is wrong”.

   Its was extremely loud. Could barely hear the waitress who was trying her best to offer the best service possible. She was great! Hostess didn’t read our reservation as she robotically gave us a “rehearsed - we are running 30 minutes behind greeting” assuming we selected the grill table. It was insanely busy and loud but the servers snd chefs were fantastic as usual.

   It took over half an hour to get drinks and they tasted watered down (they'd probably been sitting long). Our server and chef were great and friendly, but it feels severely understaffed. Women's bathroom was super dirty with an out of service sink and soap. Quality is not what you'd expect for the price.

   Worst experience of my life. Horrible customer service. Reservation was at 8pm wasn’t sat until 9:40 and I didn’t eat until 10:30pm ridiculous

   We had “Barry”. I have been going to Benihana‘s in Concord for 25 years and he has always been there. Today we learned that Benihana‘s in Concord opened in 1987 and is consistently in the top five of the 76 Benihana’s internationally no surprise to me. I’ve gone to all of the Bay Area Benihana’s and this is the best Consistently good.

   I had a reservation for 7:45 pm on Christmas day and had to wait 40 minutes because they were behind 30-45 mins due to taking on walk-ins and whatever else. On a day like this I feel they should only take reservations only and if concern about reservation no shows charge a $20-25 reservation fee to ensure plp will show up or cancel in a timely manner. Also when they called out names you could barely hear due to the music and chatter. There were plp outside and not once did they go to the door and call out to them. Maybe use a text system for when tables are ready so plp don't have to wait in the cold. They can wait in there cars. IDK JS. Once at the table at 8:20 I was worried we miss our movie time for 9:45, but the chef Jason came did his routine which was great he moved quickly, food was prepared perfectly and tasted wonderfully and we made it out in time for our movie. Outside of the stress from the wait all was good, this is a annual xmas tradition for my daughter and I, dinner and a movie and we'll do it again next year. Hopefully they'll make some changes for days like this and/or I'll be sure to give myself more time between the meal and the movie.

   Our reservation was booked well in advance for what turned out to be a VERY busy Christmas dinner. Lobby was too crowded to move in due mainly to Door Dashers picking up orders. Had to wait in line for 15 minutes just to check in at the host stand. Arrived about 5 minutes early for our 6:15 reservation, was told the are running about 40 minutes behind, was seated at 7:12. Food was fine, steak was quite undercooked and meat was not cut into consistent size pieces to ensure even cooking. This seemed like a rush to get people in and out so they could seat the next group. My suggestion is on very busy holidays where other restaurants a closed especially, have a separate area (maybe outdoors?) for Door Dashers to pick up.

    It was a very, very busy Christmas night, so we weren't seated until about 30 minutes past our reservation time. Once we got to our communal table, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambiance the rest of the evening. It was a very fun experience!
