   So the service wasn't that great we did go late. I made reservations for 830. Didn't get any appetizers or drinks till about 9:30 PM and then I wanted a second drink the waitress forgot about it and it was my birthday. And it was too late. The bar was closed. We'll see if she gave me the refund today after paying last night. But I had to address it. She was wondering why I didn't want the birthday cake and ice cream. I wanted my drink, lol They need to do something about the smell from the bathroom so that kind of kills the ambience. It wasn't so clean either. I hadn't been in for years. I think Folks probably disregard all of that because the flavor of the food is great. It's definitely better than the knock off restaurants

   Our server was really nice but she was so busy that it took a long time to be served. It's difficult to communicate with the chef between the nose and the language barrier. The past few visits, I have been unsuccessful in communicating exactly how I would like my steak. The noise level makes it difficult to have conversations and it's always cold in the dining rooms. My family agrees that we are kind of over Benihana and will likely not dine here in the future.

   My husband and I absolutely love this Benihana!!! The food, atmosphere and everything about it feels welcoming and inviting!! We feel like family there!! I would recommend for any event you have!!

   Hadn’t been to Benihana is many years. What was I thinking?!! I sure missed out on some AMAZING food! Everything was cooked to perfection. Our chef was German, who was entertaining and engaging. If it wasn’t so damn expensive, I’d go more than one time per year!

   Our visit was terrible and we won’t be back. Shout out to Ivan, the inexperienced manager, who ruined our very expensive special occasion. [No shade to our chef and server because they were excellent.] We hadn’t been seated long when I stood up to take a photo, then tripped and fell on their raggedy carpet. I hurt my wrist but we kept it moving. We finished our first cocktail and ordered a second. The drinks never arrived. Adding insult to injury, literally, I learned Mr. Ivan had cut off our entire table from cocktails. I was being “put on punishment” by Ivan who, rather than check on me, implied I had too much to drink. So now I’m a stumbling drunk? Never mind, we just ordered $600 of food! The vibe went from celebratory to “this sucks.” Apparently, his decision was for “our safety.” 🙄 How ironic, NOT ONE employee came to investigate the fall or make sure I was OK. I didn’t even know they saw it. They must get sued often since, clearly, this isn’t about safety; it’s about avoiding potential responsibility. Ivan smirked and seemed to enjoy my frustration as I questioned his BS rationale and reminded him of our $600 tab. Whoever is running the place should know how little they value customers AND lost revenue. We could’ve easily spent another $150 for the table if we’d been “allowed” to enjoy a second drink. Cross posted as the whole thing was ridiculous.

   First time ever coming to a Benihana, over priced, chef was slightly enthusiastic but felt forced . Was louder than expected. Just felt like my money time and taste would have been better at the lower grade hibachi grill places .

    We booked a private room for 17 people to celebrate a birthday. We had a 5:30 reservation. Once in the room, our server said it would be a while before the chefs came and pushed us to get appetizers and cocktails, which we did. The waitress wouldn’t take our cocktail orders until we were “all sitting in whichever seats we’d be having our meals in, otherwise it would be too difficult.” The chef did not arrive until 6:30 — 1 hour after our reservation. We made an early reservation because we had a toddler in our party. During the hour we waited, we barely saw our waitress and had to flag people down to try and order additional drinks. The one highlight of the night was the chef was fantastic and the food was yummy. As we were finishing our meal, they came around to clear plates and take ice cream orders and we reminded them we had a cake (when booking the private room they noted we could bring a cake and they’d bring out with a candle and cut it as part of the $250 room fee). The ice cream arrived, but still no cake. We had multiple servers come in and ask “the cake still isn’t here?”. 20 minutes AFTER the ice cream had been brought out, they brought the cakes, but they bought them out in the bags we brought them in and asked if these were our cakes, and if we wanted the candles to be put in them. This was all done directly in front of the birthday people and once the candles were blown out, they left the cakes and gave us a knife. A few minutes after the cake was passed around, the manager (?) came and said they needed the room for another party. If the situation at the start had been different and we didn’t have to wait an hour before the chef came and flag down people to take drink orders all night, that would be one thing. But you should not rush a private party out of a space and make them feel bad when you started things an hour late and took almost an hour to do cake. Trust me, we didn’t want to be there any longer either.
