   Usually we get a very lively chef at Benihana's but this time...no, Chef, never said one word about what he was doing etc......he cooked okay, but I felt sorry for the children at our table, because they usually benefit from a very talkative chef..and this chef was Non Talking., just cooking!!!

   We enjoyed our experience. It was a great time out. Had been there in over 10 years was a little bit shocked by the prices, but the food was great.

   We come here every year for my daughters birthday. We started this tradition when she was in the 9th grade. She just turned 44. It is a great way to celebrate. The food is so good and the chefs make it very entertaing. My only complaint is that over the years it has gotten too crowded. We now usually have to wait for well over a 1/2 hour. That’s the pitfalls when a restaurant becomes very popular.

   Consistently poor service. I feel like this comes from the management down because it keeps happening. Dirty environment. Weird and bad smell coming from the dirty carpet. Needs a deep cleaning. Took 45 minutes to get an early on requested fork. Couldn’t eat first two courses because there were “no clean forks available “ per the server…. unacceptable. Bad experience.

   Hostess could’ve been more attentive. She seemed a little rude and didn’t acknowledge to say hello to all of us. Which I think is important if you’re gonna be at the front desk.. Also the lunch menu wasn’t offered. Lastly the chef took a pretty long time to come out I would say almost an hour.

   Hostess sat us (group of 7) server was not very attentive the whole time. We didn’t even start the Chef portion until an hour into our reservation. We had to ask for drink refills continuously, our server only came to our table about 3 times before the chef came. My group of 7 and the two people next to us were very confused. No chef was cooking at any table before our chef started. The people across from us sat 30 mins after and their chef started cooking before ours. It seemed like a lot of miscommunication. Food was great & chef was awesome.

   I had a party of 10 for a 7:15 reservation and we didn’t get seated til 9pm. We did receive 2 free appetizer coupons but the wait was ridiculous! Probably the most I’ve ever waited. Our chef was great tho just the wait time was the worst!

   We had a 7pm reservation for my son’s birthday party. They didn’t seat us until 8pm. There must have been 100 people who were also backed up waiting for their table. It was a complete circus. When I asked them if something was wrong tonight they said no this is how it it on Saturdays. First and last time I go to Benihana.

    We waited 45 minutes past our reservation to be seated and then were taken to a table without enough chairs, which resulted in having to wait for the next available table. Food and service are always good, but long wait times with a reservation is a continued opportunity.
