   They did not celebrate a birthday we were having even though I noted the reservation and also told them at the table. Service was lacking and we had to ask the manager to get started with water after waiting for 10 minutes or more. Poor customer service unfortunately, food was decent but overall ranking was disappointing.

   The food made my stomach hurt so bad. I normally eat Benihana at least once every 2 to 3 months and I’ve never had an issue like this will not be coming back to Benihana anytime soon. This made me feel super uncomfortable. Once I got home it was definitely a temperature issue With the food, which is why I was not feeling well and sick!

   Over the years the pricing of the food has good up but it is still the same tricks. A kids meal is over $20. The experience is getting old.

   I have had many great experiences at the Farmington Hilld Benihana. But this time was probably one of the worst, unfortunately. The server was EXTREMELY slow. It took forever to even get our drinks and for awhile she just disappeared. The cook knew my husband had a shellfish allergy and when he was giving the shrimp appetizer after I told him that I would get his, he still put them on his plate over his food!! I honestly could not believe that and from there my husbands appetite was ruined. We had a 630pm reservation and didn't walk out of there until well after 9pm. Definitely not the experience I had hoped for for my son's birthday celebration. Things have seemed to go downhill at this particular store and we may start going to a different location.

   Service was very slow and our waitress was inefficient. Items were missed in our orders. Manager had to find our cook - since others tables seated after ours - had already been served. We were ONLY there because of the $30 birthday discount.

   Slow slow slow service , bathrooms were nasty , ordered white rice with dinner came way after food was done. Waited a long time for bill.

    We LOVE Benihana. When the chef is properly trained it's amazing. UNFORTUNATELY, Benihana these days is "like a box a chocolates - you never know what you're gonna get". We went this week and unfortunately the chef was horrible...overcooked veggies, burnt chicken, very little seasoning or flavor in what should be the best fried rice in the world. The astronomical price is the same whether your chef is a master or someone that can barely crack an egg, and that is quite unfortunate.
