   Manager was very unprofessional my reversation was for a standard table and they put me at hibachi, then the manager told me I could wait up to another “hour” for a regular table. Proceeded to tell me I could leave the restaurant because “I wouldn’t let him talk” your not able to build your own sushi either the cook had no interaction with our table and rolled her eyes when she over cook wagyu steak medium well came out well no refills where offered and was charged 25$ for a “service fee” tab was 164$ for two of us … next time I’ll go to the grocery store 🤣

   I would not waste time or money at this establishment. The food was poor quality and the service was sub par

   Good food. Order or food was a little off. We didn't get our shrimp appetizer until the end. The server struggled to keep up with refills, but there was also no sense of urgency.

   Service was slow. Our second round of drinks was poured wrong. The server removed them without issue, but charged the gratuity on the amount before the comp. On a 9oz pour of wine, that is an extra $4 tip for an item we didn’t consume. Also when did it become standard process to add gratuity for parties under 8? We were a party of 7

   The prices seem to have double in the last couple years. We got a bill for $272 for 2 adults and 2 kids with no drinks. Gratuity is auto added now and we didn't realize (our bad) so we also tipped cash after we asked if we could get a CC slip to sign for a tip and she said they only take cash tips. We used to go here all the time for special occasions and will not be returning.

   Very over priced for the quality of service. Once servers take your order, unless you are asking for a paid drink. Forget about getting a refill or anything else. Food is dispersed by the likes of the quest and cook

   Service was not good. Took forever to get our drinks. When the checks came we had a party of 10 and asked for 4 separate checks. Kirin charged the wrong credit cards for our bills. Overall terrible experience and I will not go back.

   I have eaten here before and this time was the overall worst experience I have ever had. First off, we made a reservation for bar seating and specified that when checking in at the restaurant. They proceeded to drop us off at the hibachi seating area and walk away, so we just decided to take our seats there. We were then given happy hour menu (which did not specify and we were not told we would not get the happy hour deal due to sitting in the hibachi area). We of course ordered off of the happy hour menu, still there was no mention that the happy hour deals were not provided in the hibachi area. Food was fine. Waiter forgot our drinks we ordered so we reminded him about halfway through the meal to which he said, “oh yeah I’ll grab those”. We were definitely never going to get them if we didn’t ask him. Next, we waited about 15 minutes to get our check, the other two people at our table received their check almost immediately and left. The waiter was trying to split our check and then told us he could not do it. He dropped off the check, said he would give us a minute, and off he went. After another 20+ minutes of waiting for him and him not even checking on us once, the manager stopped by and we told her we had been waiting for him to come back so we could pay and finally leave. We also explained the happy hour menu situation. She told us that our waiter told her he had been waiting this whole time for a form of payment from us, which was a lie. I had been sitting with my card out for 20+ minutes. We didn’t even give him grief about him not having the skill to split the check evenly 3 ways. The manager apologized, and ran the check for us and we never saw our waiter again. I’ve been coming here for 10 years, and I promise I will never come again. This was such a mess and such a waste of money. Not to mention, with that terrible service there was still an automatic 20% gratuity, so that’s fantastic. Horrible establishment, spend your money elsewhere.

    It's always one of my favorite places, with the hibachi tables being so much fun because of the chefs. But they need to be more transparent with their up charge for the fried rice. And they REALLY need to be transparent about the automatic service fee that's charged. I want to know exactly what is going to my chef and server so I know how much more I'd like to tip. I'd love to be generous but I'm not made of money so I can't just keep handing out money when I've been charged so much already.
