   Benihana is always a good idea for family or friend time. The Manhasset location is one of my favorites. Great food and service.

   Food is ALWAYS delicious here and I will continue to come back. Only very minor gripe, the last few times I came, the chefs were slightly less entertaining. But again, the food was incredible, so really a non-issue. Guess I just got used to the more showey chefs. My only other complaint, and again, a minor one, was we had an 8:30 reservation last night, but didn't see the chef till about 9:30-9:45. I guess they wanted to fill other seats at the table as it wasn't that busy, but my girlfriend teaches remotely and has a 11pm class, so we were more rushed for time than we had anticipated. But food was done quickly and we managed to get out with just enough time for her to get back. Overall, this has been one of my favorite restaurants pretty much my entire life, and still continues to be. I will continue to return whenever I can. Keep it up!

   The only downfall was at the end, the bill was paid on a credit card and the tip was being given in cash. Our waiter basically said that wasn’t enough of a tip and stood there and wanted more. It was a party of 5 for a Birthday dinner, I feel $45 dollar tip was enough and she just kept standing there saying that the chef also had to get a tip. I told her that tips are suggested BUT not mandatory. Then all of a sudden she wasn’t understanding what I was saying and stood there with the receipt and kept looking at me . I handed her another $20 so all together I gave a tip of $65. The waiter should be demanding additional tips and going back and forth with a customer especially in front of the guest that was there. Also a fishbowl cocktail was ordered and had 80% of ice and it the actual cocktail and it tasted liked juice with ice. Absolutely no liquor. The waiter said that’s how the make it and for additional liquor would be an extra charge. No accommodation no nothing.

   The filet mignon was tender and delicious. The staff was friendly and efficient. The chef put on a good show. Don't forget dessert I loved the green tea ice cream

   We always have an enjoyable experience dining in this restaurant. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is upbeat. Our chef and waitress were accommodating and friendly. We had an enjoyable experience celebrating a birthday here. I highly recommend this restaurant.

   You know what you're getting here. Overpriced not so great food but you go cause you have kids and they like fire and you don't want to cook, or it's their birthday

    The host and waitress were very nice. The chef could have been more cheerful, but he was nice. The shrimp, veggies, sauces were very good. The chicken was dry, and the dumpling appetizer arrived lukewarm, after we reminded the waitress that we never got our appetizer by the time we were already eating our dinner. Overall, I would be happy to return. It’s a nice atmosphere.
