   My family has been going to BH for Christmas Day for the last 10 years. We used to have great times there. A new rule was put in place at this location where folks can only dine for 1 hour on Christmas. That’s ridiculous in the first place because how are folks supposed to do a proper meal in one hour? Part of our party had a medical emergency - an elderly member of the family had a fall. The team at BH could care less. Instead they kept coming to the table, which was in the bar, to remind everyone about the time limit. Merry Christmas I guess.

   Way to expensive for just ok food. The lobster was good. Steak was fatty. They automatically added the 20% tip on table of 4. Service was attentive.

   Our server Rynie and Chef Jaxon were 5/5. Food was great and we enjoyed the show. However, when we received the bill I was very surprised to see a service charge of $24.80 added to our total on our check for 2 people. Rynie explained it's a charge in which the chef and servers get a portion. She let me know that it's posted up front but to that I'd argue it's very easy to miss when you're waiting in a lobby with 15 other ppl. At that point I had already given the chef a cash tip & set aside a tip for her too so it was very disappointing to see that surprise. Additionally, the service charge nearly washed out the birthday reward and now I'm reconsidering my annual birthday date with my father to Benihana next week. Seems like we can go elsewhere. Somewhere there is no surprise charges and we can tip in cash as we and most servers prefer.
