   Food was delicious, plenty of options to choose from. Service was good. We didn’t drink any alcohol but also plenty of options for those that do. Wasn’t super crowded, and the noise wasn’t out of control. I took my friend for his birthday, since he had never been to Benihana before. They asked when making the reservation if there’s a special occasion, I listed “Adult Birthday”. There was in fact zero celebration. Apparently you need to join their Chef’s Table and get a birthday coupon? They said the coupon gets you $30 off. That’s it… honestly, I would have preferred they keep the $30 and so the little candle / lights / song that every other hibachi place does - noted for future birthdays. Otherwise, good food. Just won’t be coming back for any birthday celebrations lol

   Our reservation was for 715 and didn't get seated til 740. We didn't receive drinks until 805. We were given free appetizers which was nice of the staff but even after we didn't get started with our food until past 840. We were about 3 min away from leaving until we got our food. Chef was good and very personable but unfortunately the service was some of the worst service if not the worst service I've ever seen. Hostess and manager had to come over and help after 30 min.

   Service and food were good. Prices were a little high. Especially the drinks, $14 for a rum and coke. We got three drinks at the bar , it was happy hour. $34 plus a tip, way too high.

   The problem is not when accidents happen it’s how they are handled. Service started off slow as the server Ashley was either too busy with other tables or tictoc. The chef Alex comes out looking like he had just rolled out of bed. Not that you should be clean shavin, but at least look like you care that you’re about to go represent yourself and your company. The meal was fine, food was on point till the end while I still sat with an empty beer, my wife asked for more sauce and it slipped out of the chefs hand bounced off the flat top and all over my wife soaking her shirt pants dinner and cocktail in yum yum sauce. The chef was very apologetic, had towels and even returned a second time to the table to apologize. Enter the clueless Ashley, “can I get you a new drink?”. Really? Orders a new drink being the other was ruined saying she’d be back with more napkins…. 7min later neither ever came as she brought the check. Not that I’m looking for a hand out but the discount on the check was for the drink that was ruined and the next drink that was rung but never came out. My mortified wife is trying her best to keep it together as there was nothing done by management at all!! Where is a boss?? I went to the host desk where he was on his dang phone instead of taking care of the issues on his floor. Then offered a 10% discount on the meal??? 10% does help but cover her meal after a yum yum shower you useless piece!! Ruined the drink, the food and the top she was wearing and my datenight all the way around and all you offer is 10% off???? Useless!!! Enjoy your review here and other social media avenues!!!
