   Horrible we waited at the table for 2 hours before they even asked if we wanted soup or salad they mixed our drinks and appetizers up with strangers then was asking oh you didn’t touch that right and swapping it out it was my boyfriends birthday they did nothing I asked them to do when I made the reservation only good thing was the chef he wasn’t funny but he tried he made it better the server was a mess and the chef knew because he tried to make up for her mistake with out saying it at the end she got the checks mixed up and tried to ask for a tip a tip for what I arrived at my reservation time 7:15 and did not get outta there until 10:00 I will never go here again I’m so disappointed and it was my first time I was so happy to go and literally never again NEVER

   It has been years since we have been to this kind of place. We wanted to do something new to celebrate a big birthday (80!) and this turned out better than expected. The manager (I think his name is Robert), really pulled out all the stops. From checking us in to making sure we got exactly what we ordered and constantly making sure we were taken care of, he was really great at his job. Chef MD was so much fun and prepared our food perfectly. The female server was cheerful and was careful to follow up and take care of us through to the end. (Sorry, did not catch her name.) You can tell that everyone there is working very hard so we appreciated that they still had a pleasant attitude despite a the next group of waiting diners at 8 p.m.! The guest of honor was happy and we are grateful to the staff at this Benihana. Thank you!

    We went to celebrate a couple of birthdays on a saturday night. I had made the reservation over a month in advance. We did have a large group of 13 people so we knew we would need 2 tables. My reservation was for 6pm. We were not seated until almost 7 and the bar was so understaffed that they could barely keep up with the tickets let alone accommodate reservation wait overflow. Once seated (next to the bathrooms) we were greeted by our 2 servers (1 for each table). Our servers were very obviously frazzled. They had tables all over and seemed to have more tables than they should be handling. Our drinks were delayed time and again and one of our tables never received their salads until the hibachi chef came out. The chefs were great, as always, but the place needed about 3-4 more servers for the # of reservations they had. I felt so bad for them as they were obviously understaffed. We will not be coming back to this location, a good time was not had despite the food being phenomenal. That's not enough for repeat. I've worked in the service industry for years. This is a corporate problem not a people problem, stop claiming no one wants to work when this is the conditions under which you want them to work that create these types of reviews. I would have walked out if this was my job. Hire more servers, pay them a living wage and not change + tip. Unreal.
