   This is my first real negative review on OpenTable Benihana is a restaurant I go to a lot in California. I was so disappointed that there was no parking we had to pre-pay for parking. I was told by the head hostess, but it wasn’t that much money but for two cars another $15 on top of what we were paying for our meal was a lot of money First issue the second issue the waitress didn’t understand what we wanted for food when we ordered ednamane for grandkids, we ended up paying for an adult size.  2nd issue There were several screwups with the bill, including I don’t know what the sushi kitchen bill was. 3rd Why were we never offered lunch menu? Taking advantage of us fiscally Imagine my surprise when they never asked whether or not we wanted ice cream at the end of our meal, even though out of five of us, four of us ordered food that should’ve allowed us to have ice cream at the end of our meal Again, having been a constant attendee in California, of Benihannas Im not used to people that don’t offer us extra sauce. Don’t offer to make sure we’re taken care of. I was really disappointed. It was my granddaughter‘s birthday. There were no songs. There was no any extras. I had to ask for ice cream for her and her brother . I didn’t even get an extra refill on my hot tea even though I wanted one.- but if the hospitality was a zero, the bathrooms were ridiculous I was shocked. I’m amazed that the health department has not shut them down. They were filthy. And no hot water . There are no toilet seat covers, and I was sick to my stomach . I felt like the chef never cooked anything to the finish. He was racing to another table as we saw him go to heck at least we were at the table that waited for Chef. I didn’t know what he was doing. Beyond disappointed - a 0

   Of course it’s loud, it’s supposed to be. Was a fun way to wrap up with there break with kids. Chef was funny and super talented. Food was excellent and beer was cold. Great time!

   Everything about our experience was wonderful, except we had a 7:30pm reservation and didn't get seated until about 8:20. I understand running a little behind, but we were told it would be 15-20mins behind and it turned into almost an hour. Our servers, cook, food and everything else was great! I always say honesty is the best policy, it would have been better to know the true wait time.

   30 minute wait to sit, despite reservation. Another 60 min wait at table until food prep! The “show” is what you go to Teppanyaki for, and even that was completely watered down. No egg tricks, no shrimp tossed. Just a little bit of spatula banging, a flaming onion, then watch someone cook your meal? It’s a bit of a shame, there is a certain magic to what Benihana’s was, but that is missing now. Our server was a charm though, very nice and attentive.

   Ali, our chef was fantastic! He was friendly and fun. Maria, the assistant was also very nice. The food was fabulous. Will definitely be back!

   Had a reservation for 7pm and arrived two minutes early. Wasn’t seated until 7:30 and had many people before us with late reservation seating as well. Not enough chairs at our table and was super loud and hectic. Food was great and so was the service though; just wish everything else was better

   We had a great time this time. Food was excellent and server was great. Only negative is that we had to wait 40 minutes after our reservation time.

   We had reservation at 8pm and was a half hour late. Our server gave me the wrong drink than I ordered. Our food didn’t begin cooking for an hour. After being there for over 3 hours we asked to have the full parking time validated to which they said they did. They didn’t and on top of our experience we had to pay for part of our parking.
