   this was the second time we had gone to Benihanas for my son's birthday. It was a packed Saturday night after SantaCon and so the level of noise and happy people was staggering upon arrival. But it was the holidays and so we got into the spirit right away. We had a 7:15 reservation and they sat us at 7:35. Off to a great start. All around us at the " grills" the chefs were performing, lights were blinking and happy people were clapping to add to the fun. Out to our grill walked Shaun. Shaun had adequate knife skills but was really just a lump of no fun. I don't even think he smiled once, while doing the Benihana "Schtick. He was just going through the motions of the routine and obviously wanted to be somewhere else" If I had my guess Shaun probably went to culinary school and was having a hard time accepting the fact this is where he had landed. Our food was cooked perfectly and the waiter tried to make up for the lackluster job Shaun was doing but frankly it was a bit disappointing. Hope this helps someone else. Make sure you do not get Shaun as your chef.

   Got misgendered. It was also insanely loud and we were sat with a family that clearly did not want us there

   Our chef was Francisco; he was top notch, five stars all the way. He was non-stop with the Benihana thrills from start to finish. It was everything we had hoped for and more. He took such care to prepare our vegetarian meals on the grill first so that they would not have contact with meat items. The coordination between him and his assistant to get everyone their items quickly was also flawless. Well done!!!!

   The restaurant was extremely busy. Food was OK and the service was OK too. It was very loud. The worst thing were the bathrooms they were absolutely disgusting. Somebody should’ve cleaned those. Disturbing

    Portions have gotten much smaller and prices have gone up
