   The food was awesome! Our cook was perfect. Our waitress was wonderful. The restaurant was too cold, even with the grill on.

   This restaurant has fell off a lot over the years. The quality of both the food and service Is extremely subpar. The waiters and greeters are also not friendly. My food was so greasy and my son had to wait on his steamed rice while his steak got cold cause the waitress hadn’t even brung it out. This establishment could definitely use some management. I won’t be back to patronize.

   Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted with a friendly smile. My server was very professional, polite and accommodating. My chef was amazing! He expertly prepared my food and gave exceptional service overall. He was kind and attentive.

   We made a reservation for 6 pm on a Sunday. After we were seated, it took 1.5 hours until the chef came to the table to cook the meal. It was super loud, service was slow. The bathrooms were very dirty, with trash everywhere and no toilet paper. I will not be back.

   Chef didn’t do anything special to entertain the kids. Not interactive. Ordered appetizers and they never came. No acknowledgement of a birthday they asked about. Food was decent but definitely shorted items.

   Our reservation was for 6:30 and after waiting about half an hour, we opted to sit in the sushi room in hopes of getting our dinner sooner. Unfortunately, our waitress was busy and after taking our order, we didn’t see her back after another long wait with lukewarm onion soup and salad with clumpy dressing. No green tea and we had to get our own water. The restaurant became busier with the lobby overflowing with waiting people and our food which finally came was disappointing. I ordered the yakisoba trio which was too much soggy udon noodles filled with cabbage, onions, scallions and tiny pieces of chicken, shrimp and fatty beef. It felt like leftovers protein pieces thrown in overcooked udon noodles buried in cabbage and onions. We had to insist on our shrimp appetizer but was so disappointed didn’t even want their complementary birthday dessert. We had went to a Benihana’s in California last month which was delicious, timely and accommodating. I don’t think we will be returning here.

   They was understaffed our cook was amazing he had to do double duty because our waitress forgot to give us forks so we couldn’t eat the food that we was preparing. So he went and got them .

   Reservation at 7:45pm. No one waited on us until 8:10pm. Finally, after one of the guests asking, we started service. Chef did not show up until 9:00pm and we did not finish until 10:00pm. Have had similar experience with the Troy location. Management is lacking. Service is always slow. We have been frequenting the Farmington Hills location which does a much better job. Most likely will not return to Troy location after over 30 years of frequenting the restaurant. The place is also in need of a good remodeling. Grease was dripping on our plates from the hood fan above.

    Ok, we love the food. The fried rice is fantastic, everything was cooked well. Our problems were: 1. that it took over an hour for our chef to arrive. The entire evening took 2-1/2 hours, from being seated until paying the check. 2. We ordered two meals, one sushi, and some extra fried rice, and the bill was over $140. 3. Not totally the restaurants fault, but the next table had four women who came from the bar, drunk, loud, and obnoxious. I think the entire restaurant could hear their “conversation”. The two men with them looked very embarrassed, and the couple sitting at their table looked like they wanted to move. Again, we love the food, but the place has been going downhill with service and value for a couple years no.
