If you're looking for a seafood restaurant in St. Augustine, this unique fly-fishing themed restaurant offers daily fresh fish specials using locally caught fish that you don't usually see on most restaurant menus. The kitchen at BlackFly is a "Scratch Kitchen"; everything is fresh, as local as possible, seasonal and made to order. The menu at BlackFly includes Chop House selections as well as an extensive wine selection. Mike and Cindy, partners in BlackFly and owners of the Famous Collage Restaurant in downtown St. Augustine are the operational managers. The menu is the grand result of their combined expertise, their years of experience in bringing the best possible product to the table and the imaginative input of our talented culinary team. The restaurant is under the internationally known BlackFly Brand of Vaughn Cochran, a Florida artist who lives and paints in St. Augustine, Florida and who developed the famous BlackFly Logo.

    Blackfly is a good restaurant in St. Augustine. Not in downtown, which may appeal to some as it is less touristy and less crowded. Our server was excellent, she provided a lot of information prior to ordering. Overall, the food was good. The flavors were very good, but the capellini was overcooked and the chowder was salty. The salad was delicious, but a bit less dressing would have gone a long way. Overall, it is a recommended establishment.

    We love Black fly our favorite restaurant which we dine at several times a month. The greaters are so helpful, the servers are so upbeat, friendly just the best! Using Open table makes our visit so easy ❤️

    Drinks at the bar before dinner were great. The four of us then shared a number of appetizers for dinner. Pizza was excellent as were the mini beef wellingtons and the scallops.

    It’s all so heavily salty I could not eat it. Plus, the mashed potatoes were a stiff, cold lump. Food came out very very late. Not one of the staff asked why I did not eat my meal. In Summary, a bad dinner served by uncaring wait staff.
