The paella is bland. Missing a lot of the expected saffron flavors that should be abundant The sangria servings are way too small for the price

Pedimos una paella grande que se supone que es para dos personas pero pueden comer tres personas :) lo único es que sentimos que no tenía esa sazón española ni un poco, le faltó sal, todos en la mesa tuvimos que agregar sal y pimienta para que supiera a algo, muy plain realmente, no la pediría de nuevo. Las cambas al ajillo, espectaculares El pulpo con papas, normal Las patitas de cordero, ricas pero no son una cosa increíble como nos las describieron La crema catalana, muy rica pero se sentía un sabor un poco artificial La atención es muy buena y el ambiente también! Volvería a probar otros platos! Un dato no importante pero que si notamos es que la música era pura música de artistas Mexicanos, nos hubiese gustado oír artistas españoles para completar el mood del restaurante y tener una experiencia española, nos hubiese hecho sentir más en casa

There were so many items to choose from and they were all delicious. My favorite was the Tostada de Queso de Cabra con Miel (goat cheese and honey over bread). The waitress was super nice and knowledgeable. I will definitely be revisiting.

If you’re planning to come here for happy hour, I suggest you go to Jaleo. We came here first, had a few drinks and tapas, but were quickly disappointed. The hostess was quite rude (the woman with the glasses) and the happy hour dishes were subpar. The chorizo sausages, according to the people sitting close to us, tasted like they were from Wawas. Unfortunately, I don’t think they were wrong. Jaleo had great food and drinks and surprisingly was at similar, if not cheaper, price point given the size of the dishes. Our night would’ve been ruined if not for Jaleo. Just something to consider if you are looking for good Spanish food in DC.

There is a seating and bar area in the front that is dark and lively and a restaurant area in the back which is quiet but nice. Next time, I would definitely prefer a table in the front. Food is good but not tremendous, I’d go back for a drink. The service was excellent
