   Boone Tavern is always a lovely and beautiful experience. Our hostesses and servers were knowledgeable, friendly and polite. We enjoyed the traditional "chicken flakes" and the Cajun chicken which were both absolutely delicious. We appreciate everything that Berea College and Boone Tavern does for their students!

   Everything was great except for the very rude gentleman at the table next to use. I felt sorry for the waitress at their table. He was constantly berating the service and even talked to hostess about how disappointed he was. He used no discretion or tact at all. But we were very satisfied with or waiter. Jared did a great job, he even apologized for the comments this gentleman made. Thanks for great food and dining experience.

   What an iconic beautiful place. Boone Tavern has been a example of excellence since its beginning and still holds true to that standard. The dining experience is always to the highest levels of excellence. I am a Berea College Alumni and can say that Boone Tavern is one of the hallmark pillars of what is Berea College. Our server was very excellent. As always we had a great visit.

   I sincerely hope the level of food quality raises to what it has been in the past. The last two dining experiences have been disappointing. I got the Ratatouille and it had no flavor. My husband's ribeye was of the same standard as a chain steakhouse at best. It saddens me, because of the renowned history of this beautiful establishment.
