Located in the famous JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina - Miami is Michael Mina's modern twist on the classic, American steakhouse. One of South Florida's favorite steakhouses, Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina - Miami offers contemporary American fare with a focus on prime cuts of all natural, organic and hormone-free beef and the freshest seafood available from around the world. As a friendly reminder to our guest, we offer a discounted rate for valet parking at $15 per vehicle. You will be validated once you check in for your reservation at the restaurant.

Please note: Grace period of 15 minutes for each reservation. Reservations of 6 or more will require a credit card hold.                                                                                                             We booked a reservation here back in July for New Year’s Eve dinner for 8 people. At 4pm on NYE I received a voicemail that the restaurant would only be serving a limited menu and that we would be charged $350 per person. Upon contacting the restaurant to let them know we would want to order off the regular menu and not be charged the exorbitant fee per person we thought we were all set. Our reservation was at 8:15pm; we were not seated until 9pm. It seems the JW Marriott had moved their NYE party into the restaurant at the last minute which we would have never done had we known. But it was NYE in Miami and no way we would find another restaurant at the last minute. The service was very good. The food was hit or miss. I ordered my filet medium rare and it was served medium. Of course by that point it was after 10pm and I was too tired of complaining after all the missteps. This was truly disappointing as I have dined at other Michael Mina restaurants and this one was not up to par.

                                                                                                            This restaurant is located in a Marriott hotel which is the first problem. Be advised that there is a $16 charge for parking and the attendants who work for the hotel are less than competent. The service staff in the restaurant were all first class and very attentive. The food itself was simply ok, I ordered my steak medium rare and it arrived over cooked. The meal was not inexpensive and I believe did not provide value for the money.
