The Bow Valley Ranche is located at the end of Bow Bottom Trail SE, in Fish Creek Provincial Park, just follow the signs for Bow Valley Ranche.

The Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is the new fine dining facility located in the restored Ranche House. Their menu features a contemporary interpretation of Alberta regional cuisine. Today, the flavours and traditions of Alberta’s ranching heritage live on at the Bow Valley Ranche. Our Grand Salon holds approximately 110-120 guests. William Roper Hull and Senator Patrick Burns hold approximately 30-32 guests. Our John Glenn room, located in the upstairs, old master bedroom of the house, holds approximately 12 guests.

Sit down beside the massive fireplace in the Grand Salon or enjoy the covered wrap-around veranda during warm weather. Enjoy lunch, dinner, cocktails or weekend brunch. Reservations are recommended. Please note that we do not take reservations for the patio.

                                                Fantastic New Year's Eve meal at Bow Valley Ranche. 4 course meal. The 1st 2 courses were so tasty and flavourful - prawn bisque was delicious. Cocktails were fantastic. The whole evening was amazing- amazing food, company and atmosphere.

                                                New Years Eve fixes menu. Food was ok but steak was somewhat dry. Food was delivered quickly which almost seemed at times rushed. Service unfortunately was lacking. Server seemed to totally disappear after dropping food. Different lady who I think was one of the managers dropped out chosen desserts on the table then quickly retreated. Would have liked to order a cappuccino but no one offered. Finished dessert (without coffee) then waited another 20 minutes to see if anyone would come check on us. Finally had to flag down a passing server and ask if she could find our bill. Waited another 0 minutes then gave up and went to get it myself. Only individual who was providing prompt attention and service was the fellow filling our water glasses. Realize NYE is a busy time however we have been to this restaurant several times with impeccable service, so this was unfortunately disappointing.

                                                We absolutely love dining at the Ranch, the atmosphere, especially at Christmas time is wonderful. The food IS amazing and the service was nothing less than fantastic!

                                                I liked the restaurant before, good food, nice atmosphere, for my Birthday celebration we had very nice waitress last year. This time I am disappointed. I reserved a table a long time in advance with notes saying “To have window seats with view on the front entrance” for a special occasion. We came to the restaurant, we didn’t have a table as requested and reason being that the restaurant is too busy. During the length of our dinner the table we asked the waitress to sit us at, was empty the whole time. The restaurant in general was not full at all. For future bookings hopefully someone read the notes.

                                                We love Bow Valley Ranche. Our lunch was excellent and we had lovely service. The main room in the restaurant was busy so we were put in a side room which was perfect. My husband has some hearing issues so this was much quieter and we are seated by a window so it was fantastic .

                                                We went to The Ranche on Boxing Day for a late lunch. We have always had a good experience with both quality of food & service. And although the food was very good today, the service was extremely slow. And it was not busy. We were all disappointed to the degree I'm not sure I'd return.

                                                Great food with great ambience, can't ask for more. We had the surf n turf, which allowed us to sample a bit of the foods available on the menu. It was delicious and more than enough for two people. The service was nice and friendly, overall a great birthday dinner experience.

                                                Every part of what we ordered on the set Lunch Menu was wonderful. From the presentation to the taste...it was all amazing. Sarah, our server, was lovely! Can't wait to visit again.
