Bully's East is conveniently located in the heart of Mission Valley. As you enter, you feel the warmth of the rich mahogany bar. Locals have been gathering here for four decades to enjoy their favorite beverages and great bar food. It's also the perfect place to view a sporting event. Since its establishment, Bully's East has served more prime rib than any other San Diego restaurant, preparing only USDA Choice, Midwestern, corn-fed, aged beef. It also offers many healthy dining options. Chef Adam Johnson and his culinary staff continually create new dishes, taking advantage of the freshest local produce and seafood to bring diners the best possible culinary experience. Enjoy fine dining in this relaxed environment with over 45 years of experience and tradition. Make sure you save room for Bully's sinful desserts.

I have been going to Bully’s since first moving to San Diego in 1969, although I believe the Mission Valley location did not open until 1971. Continue to enjoy this restaurant because it still provides a comfortable dining experience with high leather booths, carpet, and Always personable staff. I never get anything but the prime rib dip sandwich, which comes with a salad and side and it never disappoints.🥰

Over all it was okay. Pride rib was good as was the filet Wellington. Asparagus was inedible. Burnt, herd, and just bad. Mashed potatoes were ok at best. Atmos was ok. It’s a sport bar and the servers acted like it. $200 for just ok is not ok. They need to ramp is the customer appreciation level a lot.

Watch your bill and make sure they don’t charge you for something that is free and included in your dinner. They charged me for the clam chowder which was supposed to be included.

Way too much bun on the burger. Why did you change it? Go back.

Good food, easy access, ease of parking and average pricing for type of restaurant. Eaten there many times and will continue to do so.

This is my go to place to get a good solid meal with lots of selections. It’s a great place to meet with friends. For me, it has always been consistently good food, good service and great prices. Always enjoy sitting in a bar booth, however, it can be a little noisy sometimes.
