Offering modern coastal fare with a distinctly local undercurrent, Burlock Coast is an innovative restaurant-cafe-market-bar that channels the creativity of Prohibition era rumrunners. At the helm of Burlock Coast is Culinary & Beverage Director Paula DaSilva delivering only the highest quality seafood and produce as well as hand-crafted cocktails. Chef de Cuisine Adrienne Grenier drives the menu and evolves it seasonally and with daily specials. Floor to ceiling windows and open-air bar, expansive patio seating and breath-taking views of the Atlantic Ocean, Burlock Coast has been named one of the best restaurants on the beach.

This dining experience was our second night in a row where we had to return for another outstanding dinner. Regardless, of the appetizer, entree, and dessert your selection will be tasty, right size portions, and with presentation. The grouper is great especially if you order their sauce on the side. Being a fan of key lime pie - it’s in my Top 2 in the nation as the greatest I’ve ever experienced. Their tacos as an appetizer are great! Limited lunch menu, server was not accommodating to substitution. It was a birthday celebration and had previously had French toast that was banging and wanted my sister to try it but unfortunately it didn’t happen.

Switching staff, not sure who was our waiter. It was confusing. Not only for us, I believe, the waiting staff as well. Very hard chairs (cushions could be added to the chairs). The chairs were also heavy. Tables without hooks or purse stools to place one’s purse makes it very inconvenient. I expected “more” from the main dining (only dinner restaurant on premises, that we were told about). The food was good but serving under cooked steaks does not reflect well. All in all, dinner was not up to the standard of the Ritz Hotel. Breakfast and brunch were good. Gluten free options were great.

Food was just barely ok…very odd for a Ritz Carlton. Got triple tail live catch and they smothered it with so much sauce and stuff that it really took away from the fish itself…very disappointing. The other meal was chicken and the thigh was so overcooked and dry, the leg quarter was pretty good, but again too much stuff on it. Wouldn’t make the effort to come here again

After a long day of travel from the CA coast to FLL, I was hungry for good food at 8:30 pm. The striped sea bass, shishito peppers and market salad left me satiated, and those lentils had me dancing in my seat. The best part of the dining experience was interacting with the wonderful people working for you. The beautiful lady who escorted me to my seat moved a chair so that I could put my purse on it. Michelle has wonderful energy, and as I dined solo we struck a most profound and intellectually stimulating conversation-unexpected and lovely. And the kind young gentleman who boxed my shishito peppers, did not go unnoticed. Thank you for a kind and pleasant welcome to Fort Lauderdale.
