Cafe Gabbiano is a casual fine dining restaurant in Sarasota Fl (Siesta Key). We source local ingredients and have a great blend of classic and modern Italian dishes. At Cafe Gabbiano everything is made to order as we want each dish to be fresh. All of our sauces and pastas are homemade.

Cafe Gabbiano is a 4,000 sqft facility that offers intimate dining as well as larger rooms to host special occasions such as beach weddings and rehearsal dinners. We have an extensive wine list, signature crafted cocktails and a great beer list. We are open daily from 5 PM to 10 PM with Happy Hour 5 PM to 6:30 PM at the bar.

We had an excellent meal as we were a mix of adults and kids. Our waitress, Jessica was wonderful and very accommodating. Everyone really enjoyed the drinks, the bread, the salads, and the main course.

Veal chop, filet mignon and pollo mamma lucia were all great. The food was matched by wonderful friendly and professional service by Ricco. Couldn't be better, especially on a holiday.

Always amazing! Excellent food. Great service. Extensive wine list including many wines by the glass. The espresso martinis are fantastic and be sure to save room for the chocolate lava cake for dessert!

We went for Christmas dinner. The service was spot on and the food was great. Many places have issues on a holiday with either service or a special menu that is disappointing, but NOT Café Gabbiano. We have had several holiday dinners there and they have all been superb. Hats off to a wonderful restaurant.

Hostess seated us and the 1st thing she said was we needed to be outa of there no later than 6:15, we felt so warm and fuzzy by that greeting. Appetizers just ok. Husband ordered veal, came out looking gray and soupy. He asked for a refire came out the same. I had ordered the lobster ravioli, pasta was thick and goopy, lobster (what little bit there was) chewed like a rubber band. We hadn’t been there in 20 years (yes I know new owners) but just as horrible as before. We are locals and won’t ever go back….have at it tourists

Cafe Gabbiano is our go-to restaurant on Siesta Key. Tucked away in the corner of a shopping area, we’re always greeted by friendly staff who always seat us at our before our reserved time. Our waitstaff has always been friendly, attentive and a pleasure to speak with. They have a large selection of wine, and the bartenders serve excellent mixed drinks. The selections of appetizers, to salads, entrees, to deserts provides an experience for even picking eaters (like our kids). We’ve tried many of their selections and while we have our favorites, we’ve never experienced a bad meal. My favorite, bruschetta for an appetizer, truffle ravioli for the main course and a chocolate martini for the closer.

My daughter and I went here for some Italian food while on vacation and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was excellent, and the service was great.
