   We made reservations for a 4:30 Valentine’s Day dinner for two. We arrived on time and still had to wait fifteen minutes to be seated. The hosts were not friendly or accommodating. We were seated at the very last table by the restrooms, so there was a lot of foot traffic. Our server did not introduce herself. Nor did she tell us they were offering a braised short ribs and shrimp special for the evening. We heard her telling the table next to us after we had already received our meals, which were overcooked. The server told us she only had three tables to wait on, so how difficult could it have been? We would definitely have ordered the short ribs. Our check totaled $126 with tip which was way too pricey for no appetizers, each 1 glass of wine, two dinners and we split a dessert. We were so disappointed and wished we had stayed home and cooked.

   Amazing! From the time we walked in the door, until we left, it was amazing. We come every Valentine’s Day to enjoy a great dinner. Never disappointed! We live 30+ minutes, but Cap City is well worth the drive. The dinner was delicious. Thank you to the Management, front desk staff, our server, cooks and cleanup for the great experience. We’ll be back!!

   Food like always very good, Service in general good but they forgot to recognize our anniversary though I wrote it in the reservation.

   Our server Kennedy was very friendly and attentive the moment we were seated. The staff is always wanting to ensure our dining experience is the best. Our favorite restaurant. 😊

    Cap City is a diner with lipstick on. Service was excellent. The food is not that elevated, but it is well prepared. Price point is above middle of the road for what they offer.
