We did not feel that we got a good value for the $80 Prix Fix Christmas menu. Food was OK, but not excellent like we expected.

Christmas dinner, waitstaff were amazing, food was served quickly without a hitch. Kitchen was accommodating for my restrictions even though it was a fixed menu. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. Excellent experience.

Capriccio Grill Preface: I am 73 years old and have eaten at restaurants, from Pub Grub to a five-star restaurant in San Francisco, of all types. My dinner at Capriccio Grill, without exception, is the worst meal I have ever eaten at a restaurant. Atmosphere/ambiance 2: Waitstaff – 3 Food Caprese salad – 1 The salad was horrible, terrible -the absolute worst salad I have ever had in a restaurant. This salad is straightforward to make, and I have made it many times. It has two main ingredients – tomatoes and mozzarella cheese (not the kind on a pizza). Secondary ingredients are good olive oil, fresh basil, balsamic vinegar glaze, salt and pepper. The tomatoes need to be firm and sweet. The mozzarella can be made either from cow’s milk or buffalo milk. It should be firm and creamy. The salad I got had tomatoes with no flavor and were grainey. They were of inferior quality. The cheese crumbled when I cut into it. I could not pick up a piece of cheese and tomato at one time; I had to scup them up. The salad had no seasoning on it; there should be some salt and pepper on it to finish it off. Pizza – 2 I don’t have much of a critique of the pizza. It was just pain. I get much better pizzas from the frozen pizza aisle at Kroger. Wilted spinach with garlic- 3 This was good, but it is hard to screw up wilted spinach. It could have used a little salt. Mississippi Mud Pie – 1 OK, now for the worst dish of the dinner. When I ordered this, I assumed I would get a wedge of pie. What I got was a clear ramekin with some concoction in it. Around the ramekin, there was chocolate sauce squirted around the edge of the plate; I guess this was for presentation because it was useless as part of the dessert. I kept getting it on my finger while I was holding the dish. I am not sure what composed the dessert. Were there some kind of crumbs at the bottom of the ramekin that were layered on top with chocolate and whipped cream? Worst meal I have ever had.

I have been here 5 times this month. This time they did not have gluten free bread, It would be really nice if you could get some and some honey mustard dressing. I love the Peabody it’s such a beautiful place. I am local and I come at least 5 times in December to see the tree and bring my friends. The duck master is amazing. Don’t know his name but it’s the younger one. I will be back tomorrow with two different friends. Just love this place.

The food was cold & subpar, not worth $50 per meal. The server although very nice, was not as attentive as she could have been, the food and drink came out very slow. I’m not sure I will eat here again.

Our request for a table by the window was honored and the hostess greeted us warmly. The food was excellent for all five of us. We were celebrating my wife's birthday, and the complimentary desserts were over the top. Our 13-year-old grandson loved the white chocolate duck. Our server had worked at the Peabody for 11 years and obviously loved her job and even said so. We could not have been more pleased with the experience. Taking family pictures around the Peabody Christmas tree capped an excellent 2 hours at the Peabody. We loved it. Bethel (Bo) Thomas
