Treat those you love to casual, yet elegant waterfront dining on the Great South Bay at Captain Bill's, where you can savor the spectacular sunset over the water while enjoying a fresh daily selection of clams, oysters and fresh local fish along with live Maine lobsters from our lobster tank. We also specialize in premium aged steaks and prime rib, prepared just the way you like it.

If you are looking for a lighter bite, join us in our bar where we offer a menu featuring baby lamb chops, shrimp quesadillas and the best burger in town. Wind down the work week on Friday's happy hour with discounted house drinks, domestic beer and wine(Happy Hour Tues-Fri, 4-7). Every Sunday, Captain Bill's presents one of Long Islands premier brunch buffets. Featuring unlimited Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Champagne as well as an extensive buffet. Bring your friends and family for a wonderful Sunday Brunch by the harbor.

Friendly, professional and attentive server. The clams on the half shell were fresh and tasty. The seared tuna and horseradish crusted grouper were perfectly prepared. Nice to see many gluten free options on the menu.

When I made a reservation several days in advance I requested a window table. I know these are based on availability and even though there were 4 empty tables by the window, the hostess told us they were completely booked for the night and those tables were only for parties of four so they had to seat couples at the tables for two. We were okay with that until 20 minutes after we were seated when the same hostess gave a window table to two people. The other three tables remained empty until we we’re leaving. The food and service were good but I was disappointed that what we were told was unavailable was given to another couple.

Went for a Holiday Brunch. Beautiful decorations. All staff very friendly, attentive and professional. Our waitress was great - I THINK her name was Allison. I love Brunch buffets - they are hard to find since COVID. So nice to see they offer that here. A nice selection of different breakfast and lunch items. As well as desserts. Price is very reasonable. Beautiful view on the water. Food fresh and very good. Have been to this restaurant before - would definitely recommend it.

Food as well as service were excellent! Plenty of time between drinks and courses. Did not feel rushed. Would recommend for any occasion or just a dinner for two.
