Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. Restaurateur Artie Cutler crafted Carmine's with a singular vision; bringing his guests abundant portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast.

Platters of made to order pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing among friends and family. When great food and wine are supported by friendly and knowledgeable service, the results are magic - we want every day to feel like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma's!

We are open for Indoor & Outdoor Dining, Pick-up, Delivery, Catering and Private Parties.

Your safety is our priority. As of 3/7/22, NYC no longer requires proof of vaccination to dine indoors. Indoor & Outdoor dining are available.

Enjoy Carmine's classics catered to the venue of your choice. Our off-premises catering services range from a small drop off and set up for 20 to a full scale, off-premises event for 2000. Our signature dishes, including Carmine’s famous Meatballs, Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Marsala, and Shrimp Scampi, will be delivered right to your door. Carmine's Catering offers one-stop shopping. Our full-service Catering Division offers a professional staff, complete set-up and service, rentals, linens, décor, and venue selection. Catering packages or customized menus available.
Private party facilities
Carmine's second floor offers our New Private space The Sinatra Room and semi-private dining in the Jimmy Durante space; with a mahogany bar, coat check and handicap access. The room seats up to 230 guests. Our plush theatrical drapes are perfect for semi-private dining for smaller groups.

Restaurant was extremely loud…probably loudest I have ever been to. Tables ridiculously close together. Our salad was wrong, but waitress didn’t come back for 20 minutes, so we didn’t get it fixed. We never received drink refills, and had to ask several times just for sweetener. Waitress assured us we ordered too much food and suggested we order one less entree. We didn’t have enough food. It took another 20 minutes to get our check after our plates were cleared.

The flavor was great, but the food portion is massive, after this meal, I can’t have any more pasta in six months.🤣🤣 please come to the restaurant when you have more than 5 people, and order conservatively.

Basically an Italian Cattle Market, no structure whatsoever. Just a stampede for tables. Although Big Portions, if food is no good what does it matter. Lasagne was tasteless & rubbery. I will never return again & can't understand why recommendation is so high. Colin H ( Ecosse )

We went there for a friend's birthday dinner, the food portions are generous, with inflation I wasn't expecting the portions to be so large even though they said family style

Such a crowded and noisy restaurant but thats what some love. Booked a table for 7pm, got there at 6:45 and checked in. Was taken to table at 7:35. Booked for 8 people but was seated at a table suited for 6. The table behind us was jammed in up against us. Apparently they are about volume of customers/quantity and not quality. Had to move/disturb 7 people at our table and the two surrounding tables to get up to go to the bathroom. Food was quick and tasteful.

Always bustling, fun and a great experience. Met some friends from Florida here for a dinner. The server Jonathon was super friendly, helpful and patient. The food was delicious and so plentiful. They made an extra effort for a birthday celebration. I highly recommend Carmine's especially if you have a big group.

We sat upstairs and we had a very good noise level. We could hear each other across the table with no problem. Food was absolutely outstanding, no bad dishes here! Service was excellent very attentive. Altogether a wonderful experience!

Had a wonderful experience at Carmines. We were ushered right in with reservations. Everyone from door people to hostesses to bar tender and waitress were warm and friendly. The bar tender made us aware of seats opening up at the bar that we could have our drinks in while we waited for our table. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. For 2 people there was plenty to bring home. Even their take out bags are thoughtfully sized and strong.
