Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. Restaurateur Artie Cutler crafted Carmine's with a singular vision; bringing his guests abundant portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast. Platters of made to order pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing among friends and family. Carmines is always a fun experience and the food is consistently good. Our wait person, Margarita, was wonderful. She had a great attitude, was very kind, knowledgeable of menu details, and made our Christmas dinner very special.

Carmine's is my family favorite for Christmas Eve dinner. Everyone in the restaurant was wonderful--from the people checking us in and seating us to the people in the kitchen who prepared wonderful food. My last bit of praise is for the young woman who helped us navigate Carmine's menu to seeing that all our food and beverages arrived at the table with just enough time between courses.

Got seated late on a MONDAY after making a reservations weeks in advance Appetizer and salads all started off fine then the server disappeared for a ridiculous period of time - had to interrupt another server to inquire about our food. Original server came over and blamed it on the salmon dish we ordered saying it takes “so long” to cook - which I found odd because I have always found I can prepare salmon pretty darn quickly. Had to literally inhale the entrees because things were now making us at risk for our show at the Capital One Center which in fact we did arrive at very late as a result. When I went to pay they then tell me my card was declined even though I used the exact same card (and it was accepted) for drinks at their bar since getting seated took so long - not happy and will not return and will share.

The service was very good. Our waiter was pleasant and very attentive. The food was also very good with huge portions best for large groups. It is family style so you have to be prepared to share because portions are too large for singles. The salads are especially good.

The service was terrible which tainted the whole experience. The food was disappointing. The quantity doesn’t compensate for the mediocre quality. If you’re looking for good Italian food and service, skip this place.

Wonderful experience ! The restaurant reminded us of a Pittsburgh family style dinner that we grew with , lots of great food to share , you will leave full , with lots of left overs to enjoy on day 2 . Enjoy!!

Our experience here was a bit… strange. We went as only two people which seemed to alarm our server (dishes are family style and so meant to serve 3-5 people). She then told us the restaurant was out of the complimentary house bread (at 7pm?) and we would have to pay for the family style garlic bread instead. We asked another server after seeing every other table had bread, and she seemed confused and brought us our free bread. Our original server seemed surprised and a little annoyed that we then wanted to cancel the $35 bread. After that, she visited our table maybe once every 25 minutes. Food and drinks were good but I would recommend going as a large party if you want the servers to pay attention to you!
