Casa Orinda has been serving the finest Western and Italian food in the area for the past 84 years. We are famous for our fried chicken, prime beef, and classic Italian pasta, chicken, and veal dishes -- everything being made from scratch in our kitchen using only the freshest, highest quality ingredients.

Our full service mahogany bar is a popular stop for locals and visitors looking for a nice refreshment and a hearty meal in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. We have three dining rooms, each with a slightly different character afforded by our hand-formed brass hearth fireplace, Western original art collection, famous antique gun collection, and alluring floral arrangements.

We visited this restaurant for our anniversary dinner, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. Our server didn’t introduce himself or make any effort to engage with us, which made the service feel impersonal. We ordered some specials, but the server didn’t explain what they included, as they weren’t listed on the menu. Overall, the lack of communication and attentiveness was disappointing. We have to call servers to fill up our waters. Based on this experience, we wouldn’t return.

We had an upstairs room for 20 after a memorial service. The service was wonderful with very friendly and helpful staff. The food at Casa never disappoints. Everyone was happy. Thanks so much to Claudia for helping us set this up and to our darling server (can’t remember her name but she was great)!

The prime rib was superb. Big enough for two people! Marty is a fantastic server with the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. The biscuits with butter and honey take me back to my childhood memory of my first visit to Casa Orinda(59 years ago).

Reserved table for 6, seated on time, server made an introduction and took drink orders. Shortly thereafter our dinner orders were placed. Food arrived in a timely manner, hot & delicious! We had the sole, steak, fried chicken, chicken Marsala and linguine & meatballs. Everyone raved about their meal. Good time had by all.
