Casa Rustica is Boone"s authentic Italian restaurant since 1981. We offer a wide selection of entrees including fresh pastas, chicken, veal, seafood and steaks. Our nightly specials complement our menu and our homemade desserts are not to be missed. Visit the La Bouca Lounge where the menu offers original sandwiches and flat-bread pizzas. Visited 1 year ago and the food was great, as well as the service. This time we waited a lot to place our orders and our waitress seemed busy or distracted, the arancini were good, the bruschetta and calamari so so, we were told the portions were big, and we ordered some plates to share like the chicken saltimboca, the chicken parmigiana , but when we got the plates they were actually small and not enough to share for two people. Nothing special with the risotto neither. Finally, we were looking to have the Crepes Gran Marnier that we tried 1 year ago and were great, this time the crepe was cold, not well prepared. Too bad we were a party of 8 and the gratuity was already applied, they did not deserve it.

The service was excellent. The live music was very tasteful and added to the experience. The Ribeye and pasta were some of the best around. Perfectly cooked and well plated. The caesar salad and brussels sprouts were a little bland, but it's probably more preference than anything else. We were impressed overall and definitely plan on returning soon!

Not one of us could finish our meal. The food was that bad. Crunchy risottto. Chicken parm where you taste the egg wash over anything else with no breading and sour sauce. Chicken Marsala with okay taste but the sauce has that used too much corn starch gloop to it. Ceasar salad was just bad. If it has real achovies in it I'm worried they were off. Even my cocktail was undrinkable. Wife and I are alums and had fond memories 30 years ago. Can't believe it gets 4 and 5 star reviews these days. $45 a person was final total needless to say we'll never be back.

Brook was great. She was friendly, efficient and fun to talk to. She managed multitasking well. Food was as good as always. I had the chicken Florentine and hubby had the veal saltinbaca. We wrapped up with spumoni.

Have eaten here many times but thought the food was not up to par this time. Hopefully just an off night . I also wish they would change the menu to give you 2 small side instead of 1 giant side.

This was our first dining experience at Casa Rustica. The restaurant was full and it is a bit noisy in there, but it has a warm feel especially on a rainy night. We ordered wine, an appetizer and meals for three of us including my 4 year old. At first the service was good and it appeared they were pacing the meal, however it felt they they forgot about our salads and then we waited an extremely long time between our salad and our meal. My husband was also half way through his meal before his second glass of wine came. Once we were finished, we waited another while for our check and To Go boxes. My daughter’s meal was supposed to come with ice cream and we didn’t even ask for it (& they didn’t offer) as I was afraid we’d be there another 30min waiting for it. So we didn’t even get everything we paid for. I’d only recommend this restaurant if you have plenty of time to dedicate to a meal and have no where to be after.

My husband and I celebrated our 41st anniversary here and it was as good as when we ate here on our honeymoon. We have been here many times in between and it is always delicious. The service was excellent also.
