   I had been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got the right opportunity. Christmas theme decor was beautiful, as was the fireplace. The dining room is welcoming and well-appointed. We were seated quickly. Everything seemed to be leading towards a great dining experience. Pear gogonzola and traditional house salad to start were delicious and fresh. Wine was also great. My companion ordered a cocktail that was not prepared properly. They didn’t offer to return it 🚩; second one was better but still not a real martini. Entree of steak with potatoes au gratin for me and tortelloni for my friend. My steak was delivered first so I began to eat. No potatoes or steak sauce arrived so I reminded the wait staff. Still nothing after I was nearly done with my steak. Another waiter was reminded, yet he too made an empty promise to get me potatoes and sauce. Nope. After I’d finished my steak the third waiter returned with potatoes and sauce, which I refused. I was very annoyed. No apologies or ‘take this home’ or compensation from staff for anything. Their professionalism did not shine during these encounters. The steak itself was way too rare so I was given a hot salt block to use to cook to my specifications. However, the block did not come out very hot and was cold halfway through the steak, leaving me with a tough and undercooked steak to choke down. Someone randomly offered is garlic toast despite having had bread before our salads. Then they plopped down a dessert neither of us wanted. While it could have been a nice treat to apologize for the main course, the whole exchange was executed with awkward silence and frustration. We did not wind up eating the dessert or garlic bread. The whole meal lacked polish, taste/flavor and certainly was not worth the cost. $9 for a liter of still water was an unpleasant surprise as well. That’s insane. The entire menu is extremely overpriced. I wanted to relish a good meal. Unfortunately this missed every mark.

   Christmas Eve dinner for the Feast of Seven Fishes. Four course fixed price meal was worth every penny. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, our server Edgar and his team were outstanding, and the food was incredible. The Miracle Bar cocktails were something special. Our favorite restaurant never disappoints.

   I have been to this place many times but yesterday was not upto the mark. Maybe it’s the holidays but my favorite garlic bread was not the best like always. It was just too buttery. Service was too slow! Espresso martinis were extremely terrible too.

   Beautiful dining experience once again. We were treated like royalty for our anniversary. Restaurant and staff were outstanding. Jane our waitress was amazing. Owner so welcoming. Never disappointed!

   Absolute magical holiday dining experience. Had the pleasure of chatting with the owners Mark and Francis who made it a point to stop and chat with all guests. Service with Max was excellent. Cesar salad, lamb osso bucco, pork chop and cheesecake delish. Drinks in whimsical holiday glasses. Working retail during holidays does not always allow us to feel the magic of Christmas but this evening it truly felt like Christmas

    Just an amazing holiday transformation from the team at Catherine Lombardi. Eric and his team were so inviting and on top of their game. Food and service was great and the holiday cocktails this year were just fantastic. We have made this an annual tradition. Don’t miss out and pay them a visit all year long for more great food and cocktails. The Big Guys 3.5lbs Porterhouse with sides can feed 3 hungry folks with some left over. Don’t miss the meatballs and the polenta as sides or starters. All the pasta dishes are cooked perfectly and specials will often change your mind. A special place to eat.
