   The food was amazing like always. The ambiance was soft and pleasurable. The live music is always a great touch. Food was amazing! Drinks are always great. U highly recommend for any occasion

   The dry aged steak selection was outstanding! I went with the cowgirl ribeye, while my wife had the prime rib special and let me tell you… don’t let the name fool you, the cowgirl is enough for any hungry cowboy! And our waiter, Joshua, was an absolute delight! This will be on my list for a nice dinner anytime we’re in Chicago!

   Another excellent experience at The Chicago Chop House. Cocktails and food were excellent and “FANNY” our server was attentive, fun, and there when we needed her - she ROCKED! We are looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended. A Chicago classic.

   Our meal at Chop House, as always, was terrific. Our waiter Jose and the other staff that took care of us provided impeccable service. Great recommendations on the apps and drinks (get the Nuske bacon), and we had ample sides but not too much. Finished with a nightcap that included Jose’s recommendation to one of those in our party to have their Hennessy VSOP served flambé- which was outstanding and certainly well received. Five stars across the board.

   My review is based off my experience working in the restaurant industry, being a restaurant manager and comparisons of previous restaurants and dishes I’ve had in this city. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and the restaurant staff had specialized menus with his name at the top, along with complimentary crème brûlée at the end of the meal which was very good! The ambiance was great, the space was filled with pictures on the wall and a dimly lit dining room. The service and hospitality was spot on. Food runners/ server assistants did not miss a mark, cleared the tables with grace & efficiently and actually interacted with us unlike some other restaurants. Julio took care of us and also made our drinks, he was very charismatic and engaged throughout the whole experience. Our host was also great, she took recognition that our server was busy at the moment and took initiative to take our drink orders without it being a burden to her duties which was very nice of her to do. For our dishes, we split everything between the 3 of us. Chop salad was great, the bacon that was included in it was what brought the dish to the top. Delmonico steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. The classic fettuccine with chicken was missing something, I expected a bold cheese flavor with a little more salt from the pasta water but that lacked. Brussel sprouts were crispy and the flavor was there but the bacon cheddar mashed potatoes were not the most popular dish at our table. Nevertheless, we absolutely enjoyed our meal and anything stated is my personal opinion without prior knowledge on how these dishes are prepped and executed. Overall, I realized that this is a great date night spot whether it be for drinks or a dinner for 2. Also a great space for a business dinner as well due to it being a more quiet atmosphere with light music playing in the background. Thanks to the all the staff for a great experience. I look forward to trying out the patio when it’s warm!

    My waiter Derrick was very on point. Derrick was very resourceful with the menu options. Derrick also made the perfect Side Car.
