Wolfgang Puck's second restaurant opened in 1983. A unique blend of Chinese and French fusion explodes with flavors unheard of before. Imitated but yet never captured to this day this fusion of flavors keeps you craving and coming back for more. The food is served family style, creating a fun sharing experience that brings people together. Chinois is always a great experience for us. We tried the Dine LA menu, the food was delicious! The Amuse Bouche caviar topped croquette was a great starter and a reminder of how wonderful Wolfgang Puck Restaurants serve caviar. We plan to return to one of his restaurants soon for caviar. The bartender at Chinois makes wonderful cocktails and is always so welcoming. I wished we lived in the neighborhood, this restaurant would definitely be a favorite!

Maybe it was an off night, but Chinois has lost its luster. Service was slow. Most of the food was delicious but the pavlova dessert was stale.
