   What a great experience! My family dined at Chophouse March 8, 2025, and enjoyed it tremendously. Moe, our waiter, was very personable, and did a great job of spacing out our four course meal perfectly, allowing us to visit without feeling rushed. Great job!

   Everything was perfect! The restaurant is beautiful, the entire staff is very friendly, the piano guy was great and the food was delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant!!! The 2 Lobster tails were our favorites. Broiled and blackened! Excellent!

   The service was top notch and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was amazing from the shrimp cocktail to the steak. The cocktails were perfect. I can’t give this place enough stars. I’ve been dining in the city for over 35 years and this might be one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had.

   Order a lemon drop martini that was horrible. I recommend sticking to the drinks on the menu. Our wait time with reservations was over 45 mins. After being seating our food took 1:30 mins to be served. The food (steak, baked potatoe and salad) was okay. Our lobster tail was dry. Probably cooked too long. Baked shrimp was not good. Too much garlic. Nothing to balance the flavors. I’m not sure if the restaurant has the same chefs and management but the overall experience was not good. New Orleans are full of good restaurants. Choose wisely.

   Our service was top notch. We have been before and expected no less, definitely not disappointed with the service. Our appetizers were fabulous. However the ribeye for 2 was supposed to be medium rare but was burnt on the outside & well done in most of the meat. I didn’t have the heart to tell our server the meat wasn’t up to par. We moved on to a dessert which was delicious. Definitely disappointed on our main meal.

   A great traditional steak house. Our flights were delayed numerous times, but they got us in late right before closing. Our server was great, food was tasty.

   Chophouse was a good experience for our group of 6. The entertainment at the piano was a little loud for our group to have a good conversation, but it was the night after Fat Tuesday. Filet was overcooked for medium… it’s clear they prefer to serve med-rare/rare and it seemed to agitate the waiter we wanted the steak cooked more. $60 ish per steak. All sides extra so expect $100+ each without alcohol.
