Dig in to locally sourced shrimp, scallops, and fish, and be sure to try Christiana’s famous Crab Cakes, Fried Chicken, Sweet Potato Muffins and Spoon Bread. The street address is 101 S. Waller Street, with ample parking behind the tavern.

Review summary
AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Christiana Campbell's Tavern offers a delightful blend of history and dining in Colonial Williamsburg. Guests rave about its "fantastic atmosphere" and "delicious food," with standout dishes like the seafood pye and crab cakes. The live period music and attentive service from staff like Timothy and Amanda enhance the experience, making it a must-visit for both history buffs and food lovers. However, be prepared for a "pricey" menu, and check options in advance for kids or specific dietary needs. Overall, it's a memorable step back in time with culinary charm.

We had a great birthday dinner at Christiana Campbell Tavern Stephanie our server was excellent, there was some informative entertainment, and the food was delicious. Every single dish that we had was amazing. The specialty drinks are also really good. I had a whiskey punch and it was amazing! Totally recommend the Christiana Campbell Tavern. They did a great job post Christmas.
I have to say that the crabcakes were excellent and we are from the Chesapeake region… So we know good crabcakes!

The menu is limited, but with good options. Prices are on the quite high side.

We had a great time at Campbell’s Tavern! We had the fried fish and fried chicken. Both exceptional. The veggie sides were simple and a nice contrast with the spoon bread. Our waitress was fun and informational and the musician was just a lovely touch to the evening.

The seafood pie contained a plentiful serving of the various seafood. The lobster was not quite to the quality I expected. All the other seafood and fish tasted exceptional. The extra large shrimp tasted amazing. The pie crust was amazingly flaky. I enjoyed the meal and the ambience of the tavern.

They didn’t play the music like they have in the past to make it feel authentically back in the 1700s. We would have loved to be in room totally with candlelight but didn’t get the opportunity to experience that.
Our waiter was outstanding & food delicious. Thank you for gluten free options.
