   The roast was good, the service was slow, had to pay for puddings they could not provide and a 12% service charge. Waiters were polite. Should not have to pay for food they had run out of!

   We were greeted when we arrived. The dining room was empty when we arrived. The room soon filled up an hour later. The food was good. My fish course did not have enough sauce. Staff were attentive during the meal. After paying, no staff was around to see us off.

   Beautifully appointed restaurant with attentive but not intrusive waiting staff. Excellent service provided with any queries on menu swiftly satisfied and prompt delivery of drinks and food order. In the current climate of fast food, this felt like a lovely relaxing treat and a great opportunity to take time to savor exceptional food, which was appetisingly presented and tasted as good as it looked. This is not the first time we have eaten here and frankly, it never disappoints but always delights!! We will definitely be back.

   We had booked the coast restaurant and were moved to the Windsor lounge due to a function being held, this area is far smaller and doesn’t have the ambience of the other restaurant. We chose bread selection to share for starters which was very nice, and ordered roasted beef filet for me and my wife, we also ordered a bottle of champagne to accompany our meal. When the waitress delivered the champagne she advised that she would be back shortly with an ice bucket, which didn’t arrive ? We asked a further 3 times for this as the champagne was getting warm and was told they had run out due to the function they were holding, it was only when I made a strong complaint to the manager that one arrived, this spoiled the experience we had in the restaurant. Overall the food was good but having been before we were expecting the coast restaurant and not the Windsor lounge, and the service regarding the champagne was poor which could have been avoided. The whole experience left us feeling underwhelmed.

   Service was great made us welcome and the service staff were not too entrusive at the table, we had a chicken main and a pork belly Main and both meals were served hot and presented well and both meals were very tasty

   For of us booked for Sunday lunch. The food was excellent, nice and hot, plenty of it and cooked to perfection! The water was topped up regularly and didn’t have to ask which was a nice touch. The only downside was that it was a bit hit and miss with the sauces . We had to ask for them and when they came some pots had a spoonful the other pots were full. 2 out of 4 desserts were forgotten and again one person had a big jug of custard while the other 2 had a little dribble. We were the last ones in the restaurant so maybe that was the reason. All in all it was a beautiful meal and would definitely go there again
