Waterfront dining at its finest! Family-owned and operated for 115 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine. Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room. Choose a table looking out onto the radiant blue waters of the Intracoastal Waterway from the Mediterranean dining room, or experience the casual atmosphere from our outdoor deck on the water. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella a la Valenciana, Roast Pork a la Cubana and fresh seafood specialties. Sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365 days a year, including all holidays.

    On Noise level, it was mid day New Years Day so we understand that, however, the kids running around the restaurant and screeching was a bit much. Service was good, however, it was a surprise that the server wanted to hang out and talk with us. He said he was surprised that I had been there about 100 times... I've lived on Sand Key since 96, and I've had him at least a dozen times, yet he said he had never seen me. Three times my client told him he didn't want red meat, and 3 times the server recommended a meat dish. He could have sold him a fish dish if he had focused on it, instead he got a simple salad order.

    Our food was delicious, our waiter was very attentive, and the ambiance was great for a New Year’s Day casual lunch. Nice that they had a kids menu, coloring books and crayons for the kids. As a bonus, we could see dolfins chasing the Little Toot in the distance!

    Food was rushed. We were there last night new years eye. I told the waiter to space out meals. Also our 1905 salad was made incorrectly. We told waiter no meat only cheese. Filled with ham. My husband orders fresh berries for dessert. He never received it.

    Love this Columbia! Great food and service and they made me my favorite (fish a la rusa) even though it’s no longer on the menu. Love the views! My only complaint is the very limited parking, which forces you to valet, which charges $6.

    We booked a reservation for the dining room. They overbooked and only had seating the bar. I have eaten here at least 100 times. The food was still good though the wind from the open doors made it cool quickly. When I book a nicer restaurant it’s because I want to feel like I went to a nice restaurant, not sit in a loud bar listening to football.
