The Cooperage Inn takes great pride in serving the freshest fish, meats and local produce available. Sauces are expertly prepared on premise by our chefs.

The name "Cooperage Inn" comes from the craft of coopering, which goes back a few centuries, when it was the major method of packaging. We are located in the Long Island Wine region. Wine makers have always relied on the skills of the Village Cooper to store and age their wines.

We celebrated Valentine’s Day on Saturday. All 4 entrees were delicious. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection and the halibut special. Was light and flavorful . We all ordered a salad which was extra but the Caesar and cooperage salad was filled with fruit, craisins, crisp and worth it. We had cappuccino and Irish coffee. We only wish we could have fit in dessert. Many choices to pick from. Nice holiday menu as well as regular menu.

We have eaten here a few times. Our dinner was very delicious. The Pineapple Macaron Napoleon dessert was not good. They should remove it from their menu. Speaking of menus, after ordering our appetizers we were undecided about our dinner order , so we held on to our menus, the server asked us to not use the menu as a placemat when we received our food. This request from her I found to be completely unnecessary.

Service was very good. Food either overcooked or came out under heated . While breadbasket was good value no time to enjoy it since it came out with dinner. All this when the restaurant was not busy.

A classic throwback and local gem. Upon entering you are taken back to a family restaurant, large bed and breakfast ambiance. We were greeted by the fireplace upon arrival. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Menu had a variety of everything, food was delicious. We ordered the famous chicken pot pies and they tasted like home cooking. Would definitely go back

The value is great, but even when I didn’t think it could get better, restaurant week made it that much sweeter. The food from the appetizers to the dessert were absolutely incredible. I will definitely be back and would love to take family and friends along to share the wonderful experience that we had.
