As everyone says, the outdoor dining area is beautiful. The menu is interesting and appealing. The salad with fried Brie was wonderful. But several things weren’t great. We waited at least 30 minutes from the time we finished the salad until our main course arrived. We watched as the table next to us turn over to another couple and they finished their food before our food arrived. We finished our drinks with no opportunity to reorder so we ate with only water. The duck was dry and overcooked. Advertised side items like broccoli and reduction were not on the plate. Something else unidentified was on it. The braised ribs didn’t have enough mashed potatoes. Many bites of just meat. Our table was next to the kitchen and a loud fountain and not much heat. So overall a disappointment.

The food here is amazing. If you want a great upscale meal experience, make sure to come to Copleys. My only suggestion is that you dress warmly if you come in the winter months because it gets chilly outside. You most definitely want to sit outside because it’s beautiful. Even think of bringing a light blanket to throw over your legs. The service is on point and you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely historical outdoor space, friendly service and good food. The salad with the brûlée blue cheese and the Barramundi were the hits. Would have loved some live music.

New Year’s Eve dinner. Service was great. Menu was a prix fix but it had several options. Entrees for both my husband and I were lukewarm. I had the short ribs which were nice and lean, asparagus was cooked perfectly. Au gratin was overcooked and looked like it had been sitting awhile. Desert was mediocre. All that said, they were packed our server was quite nice and hospitable. Probably won’t do NYE here again, but will definitely go back to try the regular menu.

Service was really poor and food was average. It’s really gone downhill - maybe it was just because it was NYE but the service was hopeless. Waiter told us there was no Rosé wine on menu - of course we found there are two options under whites. Main courses thrown on the table by a third person with not a word and she left us with zero cutlery - took ages to get cutlery while food got cold. Wine took ages and came after the mains. Dessert also thrown on the table by a server who ran off and again no cutlery so long wait to eat that. Had scallops - smothered in truffle which killed their delicate flavour. Strange combination. Steak and lobster for main - steak excellent but lobster dry, rubbery and tasteless. No butter. NYE dessert was inedible. Tasted like plastic. Have been there many times but will not return. Vallarus is far better.

We were there for the New Year's Eve fixed price, three course meal. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good, but the food was mediocre for the price. Appetizers were very good, one of the main courses was good and the other not so much. Pork chop was dry, fatty, and overcooked. Only one option for dessert and it was not very good. Overall for the price, left feeling somewhat disappointed. Don't mind paying a fair price for a good meal, but not a mediocre one.

Wonderful festive atmosphere. Fixed menu offered a great variety of selections. The surf and turf was wonderful. The pork chop was a little tough. But overall the evening was delightful.
