I was really excited to dine at a Michelin restaurant for the first time. I picked this restaurant based on its reviews around being accommodating for restricted diets.
After I asked about dietary needs, the server remembered the notations about celiac disease and dairy allergies in the reservation. I was disappointed none of the entrees were suitable for celiac disease even though they mirrored GF appetizers.
When the food started to arrive, part of one guest’s order was incorrect and had to be reordered, and my entree order - the lamb - was never placed. Once it did come, it was over seasoned and over cooked.
I also find it odd at a Michelin restaurant that the dessert menu only has a single, very basic, allergy-friendly option- sorbet.
Also surprised there was an auto gratuity for 5 people.
Otherwise the sushi and sashimi and cocktails were top notch.
$700 for 5 people, should have stuck with only fish.
