Best American Restaurants in Dorval

Our toast avocado and fried eggs was delicious .. well seasoned and so filling .. recommend it !

I really enjoy going to Deville Dinerbar. The food is amazing. I took the Prime rib dip sandwich... And Wow!!! Service is excellent. The waiters are superb. The ambience is fun and energetic. It is definitely one of my top restaurants in Montreal!!

Our waiter, Chris was very attentive & explained the menu to us. Friendly service. Food: chicken was very tender & the brisket was tasty. I would have preferred more veges with the main course. Salad was good, but I prefer Caesar salad. The bread was warm with a delicious spread. Dessert we took home in a well packed container. The chocolate torte was on the small side, but the Mississippi pie was larger. A very pleasant experience, will return.

Firegrill St-Laurent: A Mixed Experience - 3.9/5 At first glance, Firegrill St-Laurent makes a fantastic impression. The restaurant is stunning, with a beautifully designed space that exudes warmth and sophistication. The staff is equally impressive—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely fun to interact with. They made us laugh and were incredibly helpful throughout the evening. The presentation of the food was equally appealing, and it’s clear that attention to detail is a priority. However, the experience faltered when it came to execution. I ordered the Filet Mignon blue, but it arrived more cooked than I had requested, missing the mark on this delicate preparation. I also opted for a lobster tail, but unfortunately, it was served undercooked. When I sent it back, I was disappointed that the same tail was simply refired rather than replaced—a surprising choice, given the $26 price tag. To add to the frustration, it came back overcooked. That said, I don’t suspect these issues are a regular occurrence. It’s possible that their top chefs weren’t in the kitchen on December 26th—a busy time of year where inconsistencies can sometimes happen. Everything else we ordered was well-prepared and enjoyable, and the ambiance made the evening pleasant. With some improvements in food preparation, Firegrill has the potential to be exceptional. For now, it’s a good spot with some room to grow.
