Best American Restaurants in Ada

Our party of 6 could not have been more pleased. The food was excellent for all 6 of us. Rachel our server was pleasant and very attentive. I would highly recommend Cooper’s Hawk. This was our second visit and the first was excellent too.

Fantastic first time dining here & checking out the new Ada Hotel!! Beautiful property!! Love the aesthetics!! Really great vibe in The Post. Will definitely be back!! Fantastic cocktails & food!! Loved the pub cheese appetizer with potato wedges & celery root!! Smash burger was great & hubby loved the chicken club sammie.

Scholar is one of my top three restaurants in Grand Rapids. It truly hits all the categories you want in a nice dinner downtown. Atmosphere and decor is beautiful and moody. Food is INCREDIBLE!! Cannot recommend the Bison Short Ribs if they're still on the menu when you go. Delish cocktails and the staff is kind and. charming. Scholar is always one of my first places to recommend to friends who want a night out. The menu is pricey, for sure, but you're absolutely getting what you pay for! Worth every dollar imo.

Loes was great, and the server recommended a Burbon, which was excellent. The food was very good; I had the Walleye, and my wife had the maui maui, which she enjoyed. Our original table was toward the rear of the dining room, and we asked if a table near the window was available, and they moved us. Excellent service.

The atmosphere, the food and ambiance was beyond our expectations. The entire place is stunning with incredible views and every detail was well thought out. It was chic but cozy..we were able to have intimate conversation but with a lively atmotmosphere around which felt warm and inviting. The terrace was warm with heaters and made a really great place to hang out with beautiful lights, greenery and cozy seating to enjoy an after dinner drink! The food was exceptional- the scallops and tenderloin were perfect and the drinks were delicious. The only slightly suprising side was the server started out very kind and attentive, but seemed to quickly lose interest in our table. We had to flag her down for drink refils several times as she never returned to our table once the food was delivered. We would've stayed to enjoy more drinks but eventually couldn't get her attention so we went elsewhere. Other than that, it was an incredible anniversary celebration together!
