Best American Restaurants in Alperton

We have been to The Sound Cafe many times before and always had a great time. This time we brought our daughter with us for her first experience to celebrate her 50th birthday. And we had a fantastic time !! The food is always good, the drinks are great and very “bottomless”!! And the staff are very friendly, warm and welcoming. It is highly recommended. Our young Italian waiter from Palermo was wonderful and it’s always so good to see Rafael, especially in his new role and the other familiar waiters. They made a fuss of our daughter and she loved it!! Thank you and see you in June, when we are back for my birthday.

Staff very pleasant and nice setting. Nice wine but the food is not great. It used to be much better.

Had a fantastic meal at Chet’s, a Thai-Americana gem in Shepherd’s Bush that blends the bold, smoky flavors of Southeast Asia with the nostalgic comforts of a classic American diner. I went for the BBQ Rice Bowl with Grilled Aubergine (£12)—a deliciously smoky, well-balanced dish that really hit the spot. My friend had the Tuna Melt (£16), and wow, this wasn’t your standard sandwich! The tuna larb filling, packed with mint, coriander, red onion, and Kewpie mayo, was next-level. Add melted American cheese and a crispy, golden bread exterior, and it’s easily one of the best tuna melts I’ve tried. The coffee was great, rounding out the meal nicely, though I wasn’t the biggest fan of the crisps on the side—just a personal preference. Overall, a fantastic spot with unique flavors, a cool vibe, and well-executed dishes. Would I return? Absolutely.

Amazing 20inch pizzas. Best I've eaten in years. The hotdogs were delicious too and great value for money! Some great service and delicious drinks made it a great evening out. Some cool batting cages to get stuck into too.
