Both were delicious (I asked to taper the sweetness of the 465 and it was perfect!). We tried the bone marrow and mushroom soup (a creamier spin with less cheese than a french onion and with a nuttiness if the mushrooms). Bone marrow was excellent and a nice presentation. I could've eaten just sides as we devoured the brussels cooked perfectly with a crispness and richness of the green goddess dressing. We tried the sweet potatoes with burratta as well. I would've preferred the burrata a bit creamier but still delicious with a crunch crumble on top. We opted for the hanger steak and lamb. Both cooked to perfection (medium) and perfect warm temp when served. The service was excellent! The manager stopped by to check on us and the staff was friendly and fun. We will be back and can't wait to grab a spot in the patio when it warms up a bit.More infoRooster's BallantynePrice: Expensive• American• Ballantyne•4.5

We shared carrot cake. Chris our server was top notch.More infoThe Porter's HousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Waverly•4.8
- MMeaganCharlotte •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMy husband and I enjoyed a date night out. We made last minute reservations and were able to snag a table at 8pm. We ordered our usual ranch rings for an appetizer and then both enjoyed a steak dinner. The fillet was cooked perfectly and my husband’s sirloin seasoning was exceptional. Don’t skimp on dessert! We loved the seasonal banana foster bread pudding!More infoFirebirds Wood Fired Grill - Charlotte - StonecrestPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Ballantyne•4.7

Started with Calamari which was very good but a little too breaded. The next course was French onion soup which was excellent and different with apples giving a slightly sweet taste. Shared pan roasted duck breast which was very good and sufficient amount to share. Disappointed they were out of flatbreads because we planned to have that. Ordered bread service which was the best thing to that point. Finished with caramel apple cheesecake which was excellent. The wine was very good but I thought it was half price wine night - maybe later. Our server was Wesley who made the night great. He was attentive and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job taking care of us.More infoNapa at StonecrestPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Ballantyne•4.5
