Best Asian Restaurants in Belle Meade

So first, this was a Dine Nashville Collab dinner pairing between the International Market Chef Myint and Maneet Chauhan so it wasn't just International Market's incredible flavors. Adding Maneet's Indian spice sensibilities to IM's mix of Asian tastes made for an explosion of flavors still inducing a residual tingling on my tongue hours later. Every course had uniquely created dishes with deep and complex flavors and some heat from fresh chilies and peppers and curry. Everything was fresh and creative and so flavorful that I didn't want it to end. Thanks to Chefs Myint and Chauhan for an incredible meal.

This has been my 3rd or 4th time coming to Sunda, and each time the food and atmosphere has been wonderful. They have a great staff, our server Karim was nothing short of excellent and went above and beyond to accommodate us throughout the night. I will gladly return, and highly recommend Sunda to anybody and everybody!

As it was Valentine's day, the restaurant was very busy. There apparently some kind of issue with my reservation made through OpenTable. Fortunately, when I politely brought it to their attention, they seated us at the next available table. The entrees were good as always, service was a little slow, but again it was a very busy night. The only disappointment was dessert. My wife and I like key lime pie. What we received was of poor quality and pleated poorly. I think the server was embarrassed to serve it, as she immediately took it off or our bill without us saying a word. I will certainly go there again for entrees, but not on such a busy night.

10/10 experience. They have thought of every detail to curate a perfect vibe. The small, intimate 14 seat room makes it feel like you are connected to the chefs preparing each selection. The drink choices were unique and so delicious. It was hard to pick a favorite course because they were all so so good! Can’t wait to go back!! Def. worth staying up until midnight to snag that reservation!!

Our server, (forgot his name, but a tall and polite gentleman), took great care of us and brought us a free dessert and savory dish, as we were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday and our five year anniversary. Something I enjoyed about him too, is he was informative, guided us through how the menu works, but was not overbearing in his delivery or presence at the table. I’ve been to so many places where you can tell the server is being a bit performative and will drown you in details instead of reading the room and giving people time to process lol. What really stood out as well, was the fact that every staff member we interacted with, (the host, server, and THREE other employees on the floor), all knew we were celebrating and made a point to congratulate us. You could tell they pay attention to special details here. My partner and I are both in the service industry (fine dining), so we notice the small stuff and had no complaints! Even our water glasses never dropped below 3/4ths full. Also worth noting — the value you get for the delicious food, great ambience, and service is WELL worth the price. A wonderful dining experience without breaking the bank. Would highly recommend this place 👍🏻
