- AAmber LynnVIPWashington, D.C. Area •13 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis downtown restaurant is a must-visit for its cozy beautiful open kitchen. I had the Tuscan board, which was well arranged and a perfect size for one person. It had a great mix of flavors and textures that made each bite enjoyable. The bartender made a great Manhattan. It was well-balanced with the right amount of bitterness without being too sweet. For my main course, I had the lamb shank, which came with creamy, buttery potatoes. The lamb was tender and fell off the bone, creating a melt-in-your-mouth experience. The large portion size made it great for sharing, especially with a glass of pinot noir, the Averaen. I look forward to my next visit to try their desserts.More infoThe HenriPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary European• Penn Quarter•4.5

Area •11 reviews4.0Dined on Feb 1, 2025The food was amazing, the Augie’s platter started us off perfectly, along with an order of frites which came with a variety of tasty sauces to choose from. I finished with a lamb pot pie which was delightful, although next time I think I’ll try the jambalaya pasta. The food had a bit of a dragging wait time, but it was Saturday night and completely worth it.More infoAugie's Mussel House and Beer GardenPrice: Moderate• American• Alexandria•4.3
