- BbarrySt. Louis •10 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis is one of my sister's favorite places for breakfast. I was there for dinner. The restaurant is clean and well managed. The service was great/ And the food was great also. We had the cauliflower appetizer, mushroom quiche, meat loaf, and apple crepes for dessert. We'll be back.More infoMimi's Cafe - ChesterfieldPrice: Moderate• American• Chesterfield•4.3

- KKarlVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •184 reviews4.0Dined on Sep 8, 2024This weekend evening at dinner time when the local baseball game was on-going should have provided personalized and individualized care. However, with one bartender and one server (I so no food runner or assistants or managers either) the service was slow. When it happened, the server was marginal but the bartender, Toni, was absolutely fabulous! She not only made you feel welcome and appreciated, she made the BEST Paper Plane in the Universe! The mix of doos that we selected was well presented and tasty. The menu however is very small and Pennydrop is more of an upscale bar with a small bar menu as opposed to a full service restaurant with an amazing bar. When the baseball game finished and a crowd from the game flowed in, the service slowed even further and lines at the bar were much longer. With a few more staff members, the experience would have been maximized. Regardless of this, I will be back for my next Paper Plane before I head out of town.More infoPennydrop Bar + KitchenPrice: Moderate• American• St. Louis•3.5
- BGBGuyChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 15, 2020I came to the area for business and ate here twice at the restaurant for lunch and happy hour. The restaurant was recently renovated and has a very cool modern look and feel. It was a really comfortable place to entertain my business guests for a quick and lunch and then again during early afternoon the next day for a huddle. The food was fresh and very tasty. There was classic fare and then some fun specials. I really liked the Firecracker Shrimp. There were also some good vegetarian options, a really nice stir fry and a stuffed Portabella dish. It wasn't too busy when I was there, everything came out pretty quick, less then ten minutes and warm and well presented. I noticed there were quite a few draft and craft beers on tap at the bar. I didn't get to try any this time, but there was some interesting beers I will try next time I am in town. I would definitely recommend for lunch, quick, tasty and good variety without spending too much. I will try dinner next time I come to town.More infoElementsPrice: Moderate• American• Earth City•3
