Best British Restaurants in Somerford Keynes

Another enjoyable food experience at cote Cirencester ! . although service was a bit slow which perhaps we could attribute to the restaurent being fairly busy maybe ? We were seated in the heated window annex which was fine apart from the fact that the pest contol box visible through the window showed a rodents tail prodruding from it which was slightly off putting.

We drove from Northampton to meet family for a fantastic Sunday roast at The Bell Inn at Purton Stoke which we have done for the last 3 years on the Sunday before Christmas. The food is phenomenal you will not find a better fresh home cooked Sunday roast anywhere. The service is quick and impeccable and the atmosphere is warm friendly and fun. The price is higher than say the average roast at your local restaurant or Toby but it is so worth it, there is that saying you get what you pay for. That is so very true. I would rather pay a bit more and know I'm guaranteed fabulous fresh home cooked food than pay less and have food that has been pre cooked frozen then defrosted in a microwave. You will totally enjoy your visit to The Bell Inn at Purton Stoke, wish it was closer to where we live. The pub itself is a gem which has a vast history, the staff are warm friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It's incredible clean in there and the toilets are as clean and fresh smelling as your toilets at home which I think are so vitality important. Great service and very friendly. Got a little busy and that meant the attentive nature to start dropped off. And the food was pricy for what it was. But delicious.

So delighted to have found this gem in Cirencester. Beautiful venue and an exceptional menu. Zero complaints from us! Fantastic. Great choice for all diets and lovely staff too.

Beautiful building and lovely restaurant. Service was professional and friendly. The food was well presented and very tasty. Just felt it was a little on the expansive side for what it was, but everywhere is expensive these days. The bill for 4 people was just shy of £300 for lunch. Only had one drink each ( one of them wine others were soft drinks), so £75 each for 3 courses was for us quite pricey. We would return, but only for special occasion.
