- CCHRISTOPHERDurham/County Durham •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had the 3 course market lunch which was superb, good value and in lovely surroundings. We have been here several times before and will undoubtedly go again. When the food at most British pubs seems to consist of burgers or reheated ready meals, it is a refreshing change to enjoy some proper cooking of fresh food at a reasonable price.More infoThe Duncombe ArmsPrice: Expensive• British• Ashbourne•4.6
- DDavidLondon •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoHad the 9 course taster menu. Each course was excellent, although it was funny that dashi featured in the first three courses. It didn’t matter and we would have gladly drunk gallons. The only picky point was that I told them I am gluten intolerant on the booking and when we arrived, but still got given multiple courses with gluten ingredients. If I had assumed that they were correct, it could have been messy.More infoDarleys RestaurantPrice: Expensive• British• Derby•4.5
- CChristopherVIPWorcestershire •69 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoA good friend travelled many miles to meet me. I chose the Ivy as I have been going there ever since it opened in Birmingham and eat in the many Ivy restaurants in London and elsewhere. I trust the menu and the wine list. Today the only things that went wrong were a polite request for the table I usually get or the second best table ( in my opinion). Yet having booked several weeks ago both were taken. When were they booked? Secondly the double espresso arrived cold. It was unlike the Ivy to do that. I have known all the previous managers but not the present one. I must introduce myself at my next visit.More infoThe Ivy Temple RowPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Birmingham•4.4
- MMiroslavYorkshire •2 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 22, 2024Nice little pub in the town centre with many food options available. What I liked was the possibility to scan a QR code and order directly from the table. The only issue was that the kids menu was not in the electronic version and had to be ordered at the bar, but other than that everything was good.More infoBulls Head Ashby De La ZouchPrice: Moderate• British• Ashby-de-la-Zouch•3.7
